Starting Out

Satnav Systems started installing original factory equipment into franchised dealer's stock vehicles to provide customers with their choice of equipment while at the same time avoiding the delay in the factory order process. This resulted in much more flexibility and faster turnover of the dealer's in-stock vehicles.

Word quickly got round of the excellent service we provide and today we serve over 75% of the dealer networks.

We pride ourselves on our quality and speed of service as well as technical knowhow and friendliness.

To put it simply: we are big enough to cope, small enough to care!

How We Deliver Our Products and Services

We operate a fleet of vehicles equipped with the latest equipment and trained technicians ready to provide an on-site installation service. We come to you whether you are at home or at work. As we provide a 3 year comprehensive on-site warranty, we supply and install all our parts and components to ensure consistent quality. To maintain this level of quality Satnav Systems do not supply parts only.

Coverage

Our trained technicians cover the whole of mainland UK. As we are based in London we charge a surcharge only if we have to make a specific individual trip to the North of England or Scotland. We generally travel to the North and Scotland on a two to three weekly cycle for installations. No surcharges would apply if you arrange for an installation that co-incides with this as we will be able to accommodate you en route. Please contact us for details.

Warranty

We provide a class leading 3 year on-site warranty for the components we install in your vehicle. This covers both parts and labour. With our on-site warranty, we come to you, something no other company provides. Our on-site warranty covers the mainland UK and in an unlikely event any component we install fails, we will send a trained technician to your home or workplace to resolve the issue.

Call-Out Charges

There are no fees payable in the event a part or component fails within your 3 year warranty period. However fees are levied in instances where there are no faults found and a technician is sent to investigate the issue.

We also charge fees for investigating problems with your vehicle that has had equipment installed by a third party or factory installed equipment that is now out of warranty. These call-out charges are levied on a distance basis and a minimum call-out charge applies. If after the technician has identified the issue but you do not wish to proceed, then that call-out charge will be payable. However if you proceed with the repair after diagnosis, the call-out charge will be part of the total charges for repair or rectification of the faulty equipment.

Optionally, you may, by prior appointment visit our workshop and we will endeavour to diagnose the problem with your equipment. No charges will be levied for diagnosis in this instance.
