The Universal Bluetooth™ Hands-free Mobile Telephone Interface integrates with the car's speaker system, Driver Information System (where present) and Touch-screen radio (where installed) allowing the driver to make and receive calls using the vehicle's built-in controls. The interface allows access to your mobile telephone's phone book and call lists for quick dialling. In cars with a touch-screen radio or touch-screen satellite navigation system installed, additional functionality like direct number dialling, phone book display, phone book search and speed dial can be performed.

Some of the features listed above are mobile telephone dependant and may not work with your phone depending on model, firmware or software versions.

Phone Compatibility

The Universal Bluetooth™ hands-free mobile telephone interface is compatible with around 90% of mobile phones available in the UK. If you believe your mobile telephone is unusual and may not be supported, please contact us for further information.

The vehicle must have either a Highline computer with multi-function steering wheel or touch-screen radio or touch-screen satellite navigation system installed for the Universal Bluetooth™ interface to function. Where both are present the interface can be controlled from either.

Notes
  • The vehicle requires either a Highline computer (which will display the Driver Information System, DIS) or a radio like RCD-510 Touch-screen radio or RNS-510 Touch-screen Satellite Navigation System to function.
  • For vehicles with a DIS only a multi-function steering wheel must also be present.
  • For vehicles without a DIS and multi-function steering wheel, an RCD-510 Touch-screen Radio or RNS-510 Touch-screen Satellite Navigation System must be installed.
  • If both a touch-screen radio or satellite navigation system and a Highline computer (DIS) are installed the Universal Bluetooth™ hands-free interface can be controlled from either.
