Most of Volkswagen sat navs originally have the 5 digit postcode entry instead of 7 digits which is the UK standard. This is because in continental Europe postcodes are only 5 digits long and the sat nav software hasn’t been fully adapted for the UK.
Satnav Systems developed a firmware update, which solves this inconvenience. The upgrade allows the user to find the destination just by entering the FULL POSTCODE. The system becomes much more user friendly and finding the destination takes only a few seconds.
In addition to full postcodes, the upgrade displays the whole range of speed cameras on your sat nav map, including: Fixed Speed Cameras, Mobile Speed Cameras, Red Light Cameras and Segmental Speed Cameras.
