SNS finally fixed a Bluetooth problem I had for 6 months which others had been unable to fix. They were extremely helpful and very organised, no waiting around when we arrived and even had a waiting room and were offered drinks whilst waiting for the repair. We were even offered umbrellas when we decided to go for a walk! Highly professional service and we would recommend to any of our friends and family. The repair was fully fixed and had no issues since.

I contacted SNS regarding repairs to the Satnav and entertainment system in our 2017 Skoda Yeti after Skoda and Volkswagen Group simply shrugged their shoulders and said they could not repair the system and it would have to be replaced at the cost of €2000.00 plus VAT and labour.This is despite it being a known fault on many vehicles manufactured by the Volkswagen group(Skoda, Audi and Volkswagen vehicles)Hamid from SNS replied in record time and communication is always quick, clear and to the point and to top it all off, very informative and helpful.Our system was repaired and updated while we waited, in 90 minutes! Hamid at SatNav Systems diagnosed and repaired failed Infotainment system on our Skoda Fabia on 13 Nov 24, involving replacing processor unit in the glovebox and resetting it all to work. Very helpful pleasant and efficient operation by SNS in around 2 hours, with full explanations of what and why, and a very helpful setting to work at the end discussed in detail, and a bonus putting Google satnav to work not previously available on the car. Nice comfortable offices to wait in with coffee and mags to read! 5 stars from me! AM

It is good to see Customer Service is alive and well - at least somewhere! The experience today was very good indeed from the moment I arrived until I left. The problem was quickly identified, discussed, and work to fix it commenced without delay. New hardware, firmware was required together with other convenient updates - and was completed on time. There was a proper demo at the end to show the results and spin-offs from the work completed.Thank you very much for an interesting time. Having come some distance to visit the company at Tolworth today , the travelling time taken together with meeting Hamid was worth the trip.

Thank you to the lovely Hamid and his friendly team for replacing the Infotainment system in my 2018 VW California Ocean. After the infotainment system went dead on my 67 plate 26,000mls golf, I took it to my local vw dealership who charged me £162 to diagnose, and quoted £3000 to replace. I found Hamid at Satnav systems online who repaired it for 1/3 of the price and it only took around 2 hours. He made us very welcome on our visit and was a pleasure to deal with - highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of meeting Hamid and the team recently.An issue with the touch screen on my VW Transporter, turns out this is a common issue. Hamid explained exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take. As well as the repair to the touch screen, the maps and firmware were updated plus wireless Airplay installed. Communication and standard of workmanship are first class. It's been almost two weeks since my visit and the unit is working better than new!I would recommend SNS for anyone who is looking for an electrical repair or upgrade to their VW Group vehicle.
Hamid corrected the the faults on my Škoda Yeti’s satnav and radio and upgraded it, completing the work with no fuss. He patiently explained the new system with clarity.
I’ve now taken 2 radio units to sat nav systems and on both occasions have been told the main motherboard was faulty and would require a £1500 repair to get it sorted which might seem like a good price considering a new unit costs £4000.I decided to get a second opinion as the £1500 repair option was still quite a chunk of money and I’m so glad I did.I was told that they tried everything to get some life into the unit and it was completely dead, they tried a software update but no change.After getting back home (5 hour round trip and £90 later for there diagnostic fee) I called a company called FK Navi Expert in Cambridge and was told to send the unit in and the most a repair would be was £300 to replace the same motherboard that sat nav systems wanted to charge £1500 for.I sent the radio on the Thursday and it was delivered at 8:05 Friday to FK Navi, I received a message at 8:29 saying my unit was repaired and the repair was just a software update costing £100 plus £10 for postage, I was slightly confused as sat nav systems said they had already tried this and it didn’t work so I decided to call them and was told that sat nav systems had lied as the seal for the service point hadn’t been broken, I quested this with sat nav systems and was told that they would only break the seal when replacing the motherboard, to be honest I don’t know if that’s true or not, all I can say is 2 days later I now have a fully working radio back for £110 so I’m inclined to believe FK Navi experts.
The infotainment system on my 2017 VW Golf Mk7 started playing up within a few months of the car's 5 year guarantee running out, funny that eh?! VW quoted an extortionate amount to replace the unit, which was their only option, so as it was an intermittent fault I elected to put up with it. However, more recently the fault has deteriorated rendering the infotainment system totally unreliable and useless.SatNav Systems was recommended to me by a friend of mine who just happens to be a VW Master Tech. He suggested that they might attempt a repair rather than replacement.Having driven for two hours from Folkestone I was greeted by Hamid, who along with his team, (and a very friendly whippet!), made us comfortable in their waiting room whilst they completed the diagnostics and then provided a detailed description of their findings and three options for repair.Having agreed the best option for my circumstances, Hamid and his team effected the repair and I was back on the road within one and a half hours. All at a fraction of the cost of a VW Dealership 2 year old quote!Thanks Hamid to you and your team at SatNav Systems for providing such an efficient and friendly service, that I am happy to endorse and recommend to everybody.
Excellent service- problem identified in under 2 hours- that enabled me to make a decision to replace the unit. All work completed on time. I drove away in a fully functioning car-a happy man!So good to have found a group of professionals working in a good environment.
Four garages/tech specialists failed to uncover the fault with the MMI screen on my Audi A6 before I came to SNS including the local Audi main dealer. SNS took it in and diagnosed the correct faulty part within an hour and without an appointment. They obtained the part and fitted it within eight days, less than a quarter of the wait for the main dealer who wanted to charge nearly seven times as much as SNS and for the wrong part. It was also good to be allowed to talk to James rather than to have to go through someone who's never picked up a spanner. Much more successful, much quicker, much cheaper.

Came here two years ago and guys were really helpful and professional. They diagnosed and repaired my Scirocco's touch screen infotaintment issue within a such short time! My vw amarok touch screen was not working vw wanted £2600 pounds I look on google and found satnav systems pop in to c them hamid spoke to me and repaired straight away at a fraction of the price. What a great company would highly recommend them
Fantastic from the point of arrival. Fixed everything necessary very quickly and at a great price (much less than I was quoted from a dealership). Staff were friendly and informative and had a comfy place to sit and work while the work was being done. They set me up with what I needed and gave me a run through of it all when it was done. Couldn't have been better. Recommended.
Great customer service, very fast with replies and kept me up to date with the whole process. My unit was repaired and shipped back to me within a few days, everything that was described or listed on the website especially in regards to time scales is better that accurate. I dealt exclusively with Hamid via email. I sent off my existing head unit and he quickly replied with details of the repairs and costs. As it was quite expensive he also offered some lower cost replacement unit options which I took up. Within a couple of days I received a replacement unit which I fitted and seems perfect. I would highly recommend Hamid and Satnav Systems.
Had to visit SNS to have my VW Golf Infotainment system replaced after it had stopped working for the second time - the first time being fixed by my VW dealer. Unlike the dealer, diagnostics, multiple solution options and replacement were done in one visit - and at a much cheaper price. I’ve also got a longer warranty for the replacement part than the dealer offered as well. All delivered by a very friendly team. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service today from SNS, particularly Hamid. I pinged a request for help, got very speedy reply and an appointment booked for a couple of days later. I arrived this morning, was met with offer of a drink followed by a chat about how the process would go. Hamid then looked at the Touchscreen explained how diagnosis and the repair would be possible, which was at a quarter of the price VW had quoted, with the work guaranteed for full 12 months (same as VW). Within 2 hours I was on my way home with fully functioning Touchscreen, with upgraded software and some new hardware, all working beautifully. With no "unexpected extras" needing to be added to the bill. This was a really good result. I genuinely did not mind paying this bill as I felt I had been listened to, had received great service and got the result I had hoped for. Highly recommend the company for how they operate.

I first contacted Satnav Systems last Sunday and received an immediate reply. I sent my Bolero radio on Monday morning and it was repaired and returned on Friday. I have now installed it in my Yeti and wow what a surprise, not only is it fully functional but it has been updated to a standard far beyond its original functions. I am really delighted with the results. I cannot fault the excellent service I have received. Many thanks from a very satisfied customer.
What a fantastic service. My VW Amarok touchscreen had become gradually unresponsive and Allan Day in North London insisted the only way to fix it was to replace the entire unit…and quoted about £3,000 . Luckily found these guys and was looked after in a friendly and efficient manner from start to finish. All for less than £500. I turned up, and 2 hours later it was sorted and my system/maps were updated too. Into the bargain Hamid gave me a short tour of the system pointing out some new features that came with the software update.

My sat nav on my Skoda Yeti stopped working so I went to my main dealer who said all they could do for me was fit a new one at £1900.00 .So I looked on line to find SNS who said they could repair it for me. Hamid very carefully guided me through the process, to take it out post it too them where they would examine it and quote me for a repair. The quote came back at a third of the cost of a new one which included up grades which Hamid recommended. So I sent it off and two\three days later had it back all done and dusted.Very pleased with the whole process and the kindness and professionalism of Hamid and his company.DMG.

I took my Skoda Yeti to SatNav Systems, Hamid did a diagnostic check on the infotainment screen and advised on how to fix the problems I had outlined. We agreed on what work would need to be done to resolve the problems, he said it would take a couple of hours to do. I was shown to a very comfortable waiting room, I was offered a cup of coffee; I should add the toilet was very clean with hand washing facilities. Well within the agreed time the work had been completed and Hamid then spent some time talking me through how the system was now improved and also talked me through Android Auto/Apple Car Play which had not been available before.At all times Hamid was very polite and could not have been more helpful. A thoroughly good experience, highly recommended.

Having been advised by VW that I needed a replacement infotainment system and DAB booster, I set about finding someone who could hopefully repair it instead. I chose SatNav Systems based on their excellent reviews and I wasn’t disappointed.Clear directions to find them and a warm welcome was a good start and after carrying out diagnostics Hamid explained very clearly what needed to be done and gave me some other options too. The repair was carried out while I waited (you’re welcome to sit in their reception area and use the Wi-Fi and drink coffee but I took a trip on the bus into Kingston) and under 4 hours later I was on my way home with everything working perfectly again. Very professional service at an affordable cost; I had to drive quite a distance to visit but it was well worth it, I highly recommend this company!

Parts of my Skoda Yeti's touch screen were non-responsive, and the problem was gradually getting worse. Hamid diagnosed a known issue with the digitiser and replaced it while I waited (took about 90 mins). I'm very happy with the result, the new screen is higher definition and according to Hamid does not have the same issue as the original so the fault should not recur, this is a much better option than an expensive replacement unit from Skoda (which would be prone to the same fault). He also added a digital speed display to the car's MFD display.Very efficient and friendly communication and service, I would not hesitate to recommend.
Satnav Systems are amazing. After being quoted an eye-watering £2660 for a new unit, which has a ‘known fault’ from my VW Dealers, plus £115 diagnostics to tell me, there’s a fault! I decided to do some research. It didn’t take long to be pointed in the direction of Hamid at SNS, with a long list of recommendations on the VW California Club forum. From the very first email, Hamid could not have been more helpful, switching days and times for an appointment to accommodate me. I actually turned up 2 hours early and was welcomed with a huge smile and a warm welcome. All fixed in 2 hours, and I didn’t have to sell a lung! All now working perfectly with an upgraded map and a few other bits and pieces. Thank you SatNav Systems and especially Hamid, you totally restore my faith in decent and affordable VW fixes, where my VW Dealers only constantly crush that notion. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!

I found SNS in the web when our, new to us, 2016 Skoda Yeti had a digitiser fault.Hamid responded quickly to a speculative email.I booked a slot and it was suggested it would take two hours. I elected to wait and used the waiting room complete with WiFi, smartphone power and a decent cuppa.I was given regular updates and the info was returned bang on time, and even upgraded.From start to finish the service received was polite, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, pragmatic and personable.Highly impressed and thoroughly recommended.
I have an Audi S3 and a few months ago the DAB stopped working. An initial analysis by my local garage suggested a very expensive fix.I happened to be in the area of SNS so popped in to ask them their opinion. Although they were busy, they made the time to analyse the issue and propose an approach to fixing the car in the most cost effective way possible. The first stage was to do a software upgrade on the Audio system. They were able to do this immediately.Off we popped to the shops whilst they worked their magic.Needless so say, the software upgrade did indeed resolve the issue so we were back up and running rapidly and more importantly very cost effectively.What a fantastic company and operation. Such an amazing service, I can't recommend them enough and so easy to deal with.

I'm an American expat living in the Republic of Serbia. I own a 2011 Volkswagen Golf Mk 6, which I purchased new from the VW dealership in Belgrade. It is equipped with a RNS 510 GPS/Audio unit as OEM.Approximately three years ago, I began having significant problems with the GPS functionality. Given my distance from Satnav Systems in Surbiton, I was very hesitant to remove and send my RNS 510 to them for diagnosis/repair.However, in preparation for a long-distance trip to Ireland next year, I "bit the bullet" and decided to send it to Satnav, which was no easy task, dealing with Serbia's post.I was very, very fortunate to deal directly with Hamid Ataei, who gave me the very best customer service I could have hoped for. He worked with me incessantly to answer myriad questions, reassure me, and guide me every step of the way.To make a long story shorter, I ended up purchasing a new unit from Satnav, trading in my old RNS for parts and a significant discount. It was promptly delivered several days ago and is now installed and functioning flawlessly.Hamid and his trusty assistant, Mechelle, followed the shipment every step of the way, providing me with regular reports of its transit progress.I can't recommend Hamid, Mechelle, and the rest of the Satnav Systems highly enough. I am grateful for having found them and worked with them so successfully. It was a truly great experience all the way around.My only real "challenge" was the installation of the DAB antenna, especially hiding/routing the cable behind the dash, but after a fair about of sweat and "blue" swear words, I was, indeed, successful.Thank you, Hamid!!!

Bought a Golf for my son that had an issue with the media system, it would turn itself on and off. So negotiated a discount from the seller which would hopefully pay for any repairs. Found SNS on the net, sent them an email and luckily got an appointment today. Arrived at their HQ and Hamid dealt with me, I got a cupof coffee which wasn't vile in fact it was quality. Anyway he went and took out the media drive and there were 2 faulty parts on the board.They could have repaired it but offered me an upgraded/newer version board for a bit more than the repair cost plus all the latest stuff like appleplay etc etc.Which will be perfect for my son as he's all in to the latest tech. Me I'm old so its just texts, emails & voice calls. I arrived at 11am and was on my way all done by 12.30. What a change to go to a company that knows what they're doing and has excellent customer service. Plus the coffee was proper, better than starbucks & costa coffee more on par with cafe nero.Many thanks SNS great service.
Problems with a frozen touchscreen led us to this niche specialist business. Although they prefer you to book, we arrived on spec to a friendly welcome and, within an hour or so, not only had our unit been upgraded and repaired at a reasonable price, but the proprietor, Hamid, was demonstrating our Info system could perform functions we could only have dreamt of. First class service and experience!I have a 2016 SEAT Alhambra with a dead stereo touchscreen. Through a few enquiries I understood this was a common issue and the common solution on offer was to replace the entire unit, at significant cost. A few outfits offer to replace the touchscreen but with unknown results, you always left wondering whether it's a false economy.Fortunately I was referred to Hamid at SNS, who explained how common the issue was across VW and Seat cars and offered a cost effective solution, replacing the touchscreen, upgrades to Android auto/Apple car play (wired or wireless options) and Hamid upgraded the cars firmware+activated the digital speedometer on my driver display which (only 48 hours later) has been like the most useful upgrade to my driving experience. Touchscreen upgrade is sharper in resolution and works perfectly; with Android auto, I now can run podcasts, audible, Spotify, etc.Very happy with the service, I used their customer area with free WiFi to work whilst the upgrade work was being carried out, and was offered tea/coffee by the extremely friendly staff.

Found SNS on google for VW Polo infotainments system repair. Visited Surbiton KT6 7NL without appointment, rang the office bell, met by 2 members of staff and a very nice man who obliged to check out fault (FOC). 45mins later diagnosis completed, options, cost and time (3 hours) was provided for repair, no pressure. My wife and I decided to wait and have it done, 2.5 hours later faults fixed very happy.
The reverse camera on my Q5 ceased to function after the main Audi dealer in Crawley had updated the nav software!James, ( Satnav systems ), whose organisation fitted the equipment, immediately stepped into the breach without hesitation, after Audi were unable to rectify their mistake!James arranged for Dorian who fitted the equipment on my drive three months earlier, to call.Inside about 15 minutes Dorian had identified the problem and sorted it. My entertainment/satnav system stopped working just before my car battery died. It would start itself back up with a loud bang and then randomly switch itself off again with a loud bang (generally when I had a long journey ahead of me). I took my car in to see Hamid and his team, and they fixed it quickly and efficiently without any hassle. He also explained some of the other features of my car when he gave it back to me! If I ever have any other issues with my system, I will take it back to him to sort and would highly recommend him. Thanks Hamid!

Nothing short of EXCELLENT service, pure and simple. From initial email I was given clear and concise instructions along with a confirmed diagnosis appointment. The SNS “wizard” engineer diagnosed a faulty/damaged motherboard within the entertainment unit, he quoted a VERY fair price for the repair including updated software, amazingly he had the system fully functional within the hour, saving us a probable 3k dealer replacement. Excellent Service from real experts:The Amundsen Infotainment system in my Skoda Yeti (2017) was giving me problems with 'dead spots' on the touchscreen, and freezing of content. I also needed an updated European map for the satnav. I contacted Hamid (who came straight back to me) and then visited their workshop today & in two hours they had replaced the screen, updated the system software, and inserted the new map sd card. They also (for an extra charge) enabled the 'Screenlink' system that means easy connection for my Google phone apps. These guys are real experts - communication is good - and the price reasonable for such good work. This is the second time I have used them for two different VW group cars & I'm super impressed!

Once in a while you stumble across an individual or a company that breaks the mould. Having spent many, many years in the motor trade I've become a little cynical of people selling services/parts. Well today today was the day I stumbled into Hamid at Sat Nav Systems in Sutton.This man is a specialist in VW Audi group vehicles. He is passionate about his work, very proffesional oh and did I forget to mention very personable.I took my Scirocco to him as my stereo touch screen had given up the ghost,the dealer options were, well horrendous Over £2k to replace like for like, way beyond my means. Enter Hamid, popped into the passenger side of my car explained the problem and the soulution. I spent 2 hrs sat in his visitors waiting room offered countless drinks free lollies, great reading material free WiFi and charging ports for my phone. SatNavStystems fitted my tow bar several years ago. After an complete electronics meltdown on my SQ5 due to incorrectly fitted replacement windscreen, the tow bar settings needed recalibrating. One phone call and two days later everything fixed.... fantastic. Best thing no charge - all part of the service. Made my day after three weeks trying to get my car back on the road.Would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to have a tow bar fitted to their car
I had an amazing experience with SNS. From the start the service was amazing, I was treated well by all members of staff but particularly Hamid. He was extremely friendly and explained my problems clearly. Most importantly, I received a price I was very happy with, they focused on repairing my screen, when I was told much higher prices by other companies to just replace the screen entirely without really understanding the problem! I will definitely be returning when I need similar services, I am happy to have found somewhere I trust.
Had issues with my Columbus RNS510 for quite some time to the point that it was effectively redundant. Tried factory reset and hard reset but still no joy. Contacted SatNav Systems and Hamid [Executive Director] responded almost immediately. We had several email exchanges about what could be done, price indications, etc. and Hamid always responded within minutes. Decided to go with SatNav Systems based on responses, even though they may not necessarily be the cheapest to carry out repairs. They even assisted me on how to get the unit out of the car. Sent it to them Saturday lunchtime, arrived at their offices Monday lunchtime, delivered back home to me Wednesday lunchtime. Brilliant service and saved me a lot of money. They even updated the Maps, Speed Cameras, etc.

I had problems with my Sat Nav, for my VW Touareg. I was recommended by my Garage to Sat Nav systems at Surbiton. I completed on line enquiry form, Within a very short time , I received a telephone call from James at SNS ,who explained thoroughly what I could expect from my visit.An appointment, was agreed for today .my appointment was for 09.30, I arrive an hour early, and was seen an hour early by James who within 15 minutes established the fault, and my system maps were updated to the latest and the latest firmwear .a complete update and a fully functioning Sat Nave at a very reasonable cost. I would not hesitate in recommending James and the staff of SNS to any owner of a vehicle from the VW stable. I had an Audi 360 camera system integrated into the existing MMI system on my 2024 Audi Q3.From the moment i found the website of SNS I knew they were the team to install the system. They are knowledgeable professional and highly skilled at what they do. Their work is of a very high standard, they only use oem parts and my warranty is still valid.Their’s was not the cheapest quote i obtained, in fact it was the most expensive. The quality of their work though , as depicted on their website, meant that i only wanted them to do the work (Despite having to get the car from Essex to their facility in Surbiton).I was not disappointed, the installation is excellent, exactly what I hoped it would be. The process was quicker than I expected ( .3 days) and the installation is seamless with the existing system.James and his team are highly recommended

This is a really professionel , efficient but friendly company . Hamid talked through what we really needed from our Skoda Yeti touchscreen unit and actually recommended a cheaper model instead of a repair which had the added advantage of DAB. We drank our tea and coffee and agreed to return in 2 hours time . We were extremely pleased both with the treatment we received and the end result .

I have a 2017 Yeti and for some time the touchscreen on the infotainment system had been giving problems which had steadily been getting worse. Contacting the local Skoda dealer for advice I was told that a new unit was required at a cost of in excess of £2000.Looking on ebay to investigate an alternative I found the name of SatNav Systems and decided to contact them about a repair.Hamid responded positively and professionally and when I visited their factory the problem was diagnosed quickly and the unit was repaired in 2 hours with uprated software at a 75% cost saving.The service I received was superb and I would recommend SatNav Systems to anybody without hesitation.

Amazing customer service from start to finish! I decided I needed a tow bar and reversing camera installed on my VW Golf GTE. VW Battersea referred me to SatNavSystems in Surbiton and James Geldenhuys contacted me with various quotes and supporting video links to familiarise me with products. I still had a number of question about warranty, operation and other things and James responded promptly and politely each time. This meant that I was quickly able to arrange fitting at their Surbiton office and use the fitting time to visit friends locally. He also gave me a discount for my visit and ensured that my software was completely up to date FOC. When I arrived I was greeted by James and a much needed coffee! He introduced me to the fitting team and then went through the action plan for the day. James gave me several progress update calls, which helped to plan the rest of my day, and then confirmed completion. Once I returned to SNS, James went through the operation of the camera and towbar to ensure I was happy with the work they had completed. He also went through the settings on the car to ensure things were setup correctly. I was extremely pleased with the work, his support throughout and his excellent customer service, which was the deal maker. These two items were a lot of money, but I was confident from our discussions and correspondence that they were a good investment. From my initial inquiry, through my follow up questions to receiving the repaired Satnav unit back the service level was outstanding. Hamed is a credit to this business, polite and knowledgeable whilst fully answering queries in a speedy response time. My Skoda Yeti Amundsen II unit and screen is now working perfectly with upgraded functions (apple car play/Android auto) together with updated maps and including speed cameras. Price was more than I expected from reading some others experiences elsewhere but service provided was excellent.
I am absolutely delighted with the service I had at SNS. Adam was incredibly knowledgable and able to advise me of the full process to fit a reversing camera on my Porsche Macan S. Communication was excellent and a very nice customer waiting room, which is also dog friendly, allowed me to work while the technicians completed the work on my car. Once complete, Adam took me through the operation and controls and wouldn't take payment until I was completely happy with everything. I have a 2017 Skoda Yeti and the sat nav was becoming unusable as the screen was not responding in the bottom left hand corner which is essential to start entering postcodes. A Google search produced SatNav Systems. What a service!Hamid came out to the car to meet me, he assessed the problem as being exactly what he expected, and showed me into the waiting area.After one hour and forty five minutes Hamid was taking me through the operation of my repaired satnav. Repaired is not enough, it had been upgraded, enhanced and had its maps brought up to date, all at about 25% of the cost of a new infotainment unit. I still have to spend the 'hour or two' playing with it to discover its new abilities as Hamid suggested but eventually...I cannot recommend SatNav Systems highly enough, I have been thoroughly satisfied with their excellent service.

As soon as I arrived Hamid welcomed me and explained in great detail about the history of VW T6 radio systems, their problems and what his Company could do to solve those problems. My problem was the touchscreen had become non operational. As soon as we agreed a price his team got to work on my campervan. It took about 2 hours and the end result was a fully operational radio system, probably much better than the original. Very happy! I think that SNS are possibly the only Company in the south of the UK that can offer this service so some people travel a long way to get their radio fixed. Would thoroughly recommend SNS.

I have had an absolutely brilliant experience with SNS, from start till end. I sent an email to book an appointment, had to change it closer to date, which was done without any fuss.Task at hand: My unit was examined in front of me, I was asked all the relevant questions (which I already had in my mind and I wanted to ask them first, but..). Then I was explained the problem, how common it is, and 3 possible solutions offered for me to choose from with no pressure to decide on any one of them. All my anxieties evaporated by this time now. I was told job will be done by 13:30, and by 13:30 I as back in my car looking at the wonderful repairs.Communication: Great, very quick response to my email queries.Hospitality/customer service at site: Had place to sit in and wait while the job was being done. Had great coffee and free wifi and so I ticked a few things off my ticklist of things to do :). There was guy from Preston in the waiting room who had drove in to get his car fixed.Hamid spent a great deal of time trying to explain things to me before repair was done, and gave an excellent demo of the infotainment system after it was put back. He even gave me a few tricks on the car controls.All in all, I have reviewed many places, parks, restaurants, retail, electronics, hospitals etc... But this is one review I actually am enjoying writing. Long story short: I had a major failure of my stance system on my Golf GTD and was advised to contact Hamid at SNS. I took the car to their factory and within just a few minutes the control was removed and diagnosed as being the fault element in the system.I was given a breakdown of the problem and given various repair options to suit my budget.I selected the appropriate option and a full repair was carried out and various software elements updated. This took roughly an hour and a quarter and I left with a fully working car.I cannot praise highly enough the professional service I received from Hamid and would highly recommend SNS for any VW electronic problems as well as new equipment installs.Thank you Hamid and your team of technicians.

Great experience modifying the standard PCM system in a 2023 Porsche Macan - specifically making Apple CarPlay run to full screen. It was a big blip for me in the otherwise excellent Macan interior and in car information systems - such an odd limitation. However SatNav systems have worked out how to reprogram this to work as it should have done as standard. The guys are a professional outfit that do a lot of work for VW Group and others - got immediate confidence (particularly as the owner of a very new car) that they knew what they were doing and wouldn't invalidate any warranties. Excellent, highly recommend.

I sent in my media unit which had become increasingly unresponsive over a period of months due to problems with the touchscreen and buttons. My unit was repaired and up-graded and sent back within a week. The cost was a fraction of what I had been quoted by the dealer for a new unit. Would highly recommend this company for anyone experience problems with their car media units.

I sent the unit to SatNav and received a prompt diagnosis of the repairs needed. Hamid offered me a number of options including a reconditioned unit which I accepted. I had given up on my Skoda entertainment/satnav system with the price quoted by the dealer - £4,500. I can sing to myself for much less! However my local garage (not the dealer) made me aware of Satnav Systems and they fixed the system for just over 10% of the dealer quote. Extremely helpful and professional in every respect. If only all organisations were like this....
Repaired and upgraded a Skoda radio/Satnav unit that had succumbed to the common screen control faults.While it is possible to ‘bodge’ this repair, Hamid gave sound advice as to why this was not a good solution and provided two options for proper repair. I took the second option which was not particularly cheap, but provided a much enhanced functionality.Turn-around was very fast, but unfortunately the courier temporarily ‘lost’ the item when returning to me. Hamid and his team instantly followed-up with the courier and resolved the issue is super quick time.I commend Hamid and his team for an excellent job throughout which they kept me informed of progress. The overall service attitude hit a rare 100%. I don’t see how they could improve on the service they provided; it was perfect!

I can't commend Hamid and Satnav Systems highly enough - they deserve six stars. My Skoda Yeti touch screen started to fail, I contacted my main agent who said they couldn't give me an appointment for diagnosis for six weeks, the cost would be £250 just for diagnosis, and a replacement unit was likely to be at least £1500. I found SNS thro' a google search. They offered me an appointment 2 days ahead, free diagnosis and a 95% probability of being able to fix the unit in two hours. Our VW Golf 7.5 sat nav and all the other features of the infotainment system stopped working (technically an MOT fail). I took it to my local dealer who was completely useless, charged £130 to say they could not find the fault and with no explanation offered to replace the whole unit for £2,882.45.Rather upset I Googled the problem and came up with Satnav Systems (UK) Ltd and their demonstration video seemed to be identical to my problem. I enquired and had very prompt responses from Hamid who was positive he could help.It was a two and a half hour drive each way, but well worth it. Hamid greeted us straight away, had the problem identified promptly and went through several options very clearly with varying costs (all much lower than VW). He kept us informed of progress and topped up with refreshments. The whole process took two hours. Much of this time was waiting for the unit to be registered with VW in Germany. There is wi-fi there so you could take a lap top and work from the pleasant waiting room. Hamid went through the full functionality of the new infotainment system and set it all up with our preferred radio channels and our phones.Really excellent customer service. We paid half the price quoted by VW for the same thing with a two year warranty.Do watch the video showing how to get to the workshop as it is not easy to find especially if you have no sat nav. Really happy customer and I think our VW garage staff could learn a lot in customer service from visiting this wonderful establishment. Just had my Skoda infotainment system returned. What a great company. Initial online assessment, quick reply that repair is probable, sent off the unit, very quick reply with positive response and quote. Then provided further options at lower cost which suited me better. Work then done fast and unit returned (very well packaged) within couple of days.Excellent service.

I bought a Skoda Scala recently. I was quite frustrated and disappointed as Android Auto never worked on my car. I tried contacting Skoda who clearly said there is nothing that can be done and I have to use my phone for google maps. Contacted several other dealerships who couldn't help as well. Then Sat Nav came to the rescue, my initial contact was James who assured me that this can be activated on the vehicle. Now I have Android auto plus digital parking sensor in my car! I had front parking sensors and a reversing camera fitted recently. The whole experience was vey good. The communication was excellent and the appointment prompt. The video of how to get to the premises was useful and the demonstration of how the new kit worked in the car once fitted was very useful. Would thoroughly recommend Satnav systems.
However you arrived at Satnav Systems you have arrived at the right place. So refreshing to find someone like Hamid. I'm in my 80's and worked with aircraft electronics all my working life. Hamid speaks the language I understand and agree with. Everything revolves around money. I have a low milage 2018 Polo from new and the Information system stopped, VW would change the F5 unit for £3000. Encouraged by others’ praise of Hamid and his team at Satnav Systems, I took my 67-plate VW Kombi to them to (hopefully) fix its failing Discover Media system. Having been met by a cheerful Hamid upon my arrival, and having had the process explained to me, I was heading home with a fully functioning system just 2 hours later. Now that’s what I call a result! Very professional attitude, and – as well as having had the firmware and maps updated to the latest versions - some extra advice from Hamid about a few features of the system I hadn’t even known about. One of the best services I can remember experiencing. Incredibly courteous staff who could not have done more to make me feel welcome. The work has been completed successfully on my car and I was given excellent instruction on how to use it. The other customers in the waiting area appeared equally impressed as I was by Satnav Systems, their staff and service.
Exceptionally helpful, friendly, and comprehensive service. A delight to deal with. I delivered my unit, Hamid confirmed it could be repaired, and I returned two hours later (I could have waited in their comfortable customer area with hot drinks). They even refitted it and set it up. All at a bargain fraction of the price of a new unit.

I took my Audi A3 to James and his team at Satnav Systems LTD for a diagnostic, and they exceeded my expectation. Previously, another garage had trouble diagnosing the same problem. Satnav Systems swiftly diagnosed it as a Bluetooth module issue and fixed it, all while I waited, saving me a substantial amount compared to a quote from an Audi dealer. My initial email enquiry to Sat Nav Systems was responded to very promptly with full explanations and several cost option's.On receiving my Skoda Yet infotainment system Sat Nav Systems sent me a full diagnostic report and options of different upgrades for additional services if required. Our Skoda Yeti Amundsen MIB2 infotainment system was suffering intermittent problems - unresponsive touch screen, radio changing stations on its own and the system buttons failing to work.Web-based Skoda and Yeti-specific user forums revealed that our problems were common, and we even had other Yeti owners approach us asking about the same problems they were experiencing.Dealership response to what seems to be a widespread problem was a complete unit change at considerable expense. However, the on-line forums pointed us towards first-class, economic resolution at Satnav Systems.Hamid and his team were brilliant, responding rapidly to on-line enquiries and setting up an appointment for diagnosis and rectification. Within a couple of hours, which we spent in the comfortable waiting room with hot drinks provided, the system was not only repaired but significantly upgraded with an HD touch screen, satnav speed cameras and Skoda SmartLink installation! I contacted Satnav Systems after my Golf Infotainment system screen suddenly went blank. Hamid responded on a Sunday and I arranged for a visit a few days later to investigate the fault and arrange a repair.Hamid found the fault and clearly explained the various options available and information on the guarantee. The costs were considerably less than the prices quoted by the VW main agent.The repair was carried out in under two hours during which time we were well looked after by all the very friendly staff and kept fully in the up to date on progress. I cannot praise this company enough, easy communication, prompt response to emails, arranged a visit was sent clear instructions on how to find them, on arrival warmly greeted, given a rather nice coffee and shown to the waiting room, 25 minutes later i had an answer to the issue and a quote for repair, once the go ahead was given the repair took little over an hour and the unit works as well as new! Ive even noticed a few new settings in the reverse camera. - polite, respectful and flawless service - and the price was over £1500 less that VW. - thank you again Hamid.
Faulty MMI unit, Audi S5, around 7500 miles. Dealer quote astronomical. Another firm couldn’t fix the problem. Luckily heard about Satnav solutions. Unbelievable, courteous, professional, knowledgeable service. Within 48 hours all fixed at a very very reasonable price. Most of All, nice people to work with!
Email correspondence with Satnav Systems was first class, personnel were very friendly, especially Hamid Ataei who I dealt with most of the time. The repair was first class and he explained and demonstrated the repaired unit when re installed in my car. I felt very confident of their capability. I would not hesitate in recommending this company too anyone who has a faulty in car Satnav. The cost of the repair was not cheap but certainly cheaper than Skoda would have charged. Well done Satnav Systems. Well worth the 5 stars rating.
My round trip to SatNav was 220 miles, but it was well worth it. The repair cost more than I had hoped, but was still very much less than the main dealer price, and all within half a day due to SatNav's comprehensive stock of spares, and diligent service. The best solution I could have reasonably hoped for.

VW Polo SE 2015 infotainment system fault -If there were six stars, that's what I'd give Hamid / Satnav Systems for his service. It was exemplary. I actually started to write my review in the waiting room!From the time I arrived, I felt welcome. Hamid came down to meet me. I was shown the loos (very important for a lady!), taken to the waiting area and had a very nice cup of coffee (in a mug, not a disposable). The waiting room is in the main office, which had such a quiet, calming atmosphere. It was very tidy and well-organised. Hamid explained to me that they would diagnose the issue without charge (unlike VW, who charged me £60 to tell me that they couldn't find what the issue was and then offered to replace it for £2K plus).For the time it took to drink my coffee, Hamid had returned to let me know what my options were and explained the costs (which were a fraction of what it would have cost with VW). I chose to get a new system fitted. Within 20 minutes or so of Hamid's consultation, my new infotainment system was fitted! Hamid took me out to the car and went through everything with me. He had reset the settings and showed me how to set my radio stations etc. After two years of having no car system and making do with a portable speaker and my 'phone, I had finally got my infotainment system sorted in less than an hour! I wish I had found Satnav Systems sooner! I can't thank Hamid enough. Such an excellent service! Highly recommended!

I found Sat Nav on line after my screen on my Golf mk 7 went blank.I was quoted well over £2000 pounds plus vat plus plus investigation by others.Sat Nav was only 10 minutes away from where I live so I made an appointment for them to trace the fault. I arrived and was greeted by Hamid and was shown into a very comfy waiting room whist they did the investigation.During the repair I was kept up to date on the work and cost and also well looked after.After talking to other customers who had travelled long distances I felt very lucky that I had only travelled a short distance.After the repair had been carried out Hamid went over what had been done and reset the information to the infotainment unit. I also got a two year guarantee.A very nice experience and of course much cheaper than the price I had been quoted by others. Thankyou.

I took my car to these wizards this morning after booking in a couple of days ago. I'm a returning customer as they fixed my satnav for a very competitive price 2 years ago... 30 mins after arriving I was leaving and the system was fixed.... a quick removal and hard reset and hey presto! This time no charge which is exceptionally generous. What goes around comes around... I hope you get may more customers from this review - I can assure anyone contemplating it - This IS the place to get help.
SatNav fitted adaptive cruise control into my Audi. The whole process from initial enquiry to handing the keys back and taking me through the improvements was done with James Geldenhuys in a very timely knowledgeable and efficient manner. Communications with James by phone and email was always excellent. I don’t anticipate any problems with the installation but if there ever are, I’m very content that SatNav will be on hand to sort them out. If only all companies could be so helpful courteous and well organised in dealing with their customers!

Outstanding service by Hamid and his team, my Golf audio system failed unexpectedly, Hamid diagnosed the fault for free in 15mins then went on to fix it under 2 hours. I was charged £1194 instead of £2781 quoted by VW.
