VW Bluetooth Mobile Telephone Interface

The Volkswagen Bluetooth™ Interface lets you wirelessly connect your mobile telephone to make and receive calls without the need to handle your phone. This is an essential accessory as more and more Police forces across the UK are clamping down on mobile phone users making a call whilst driving. The Bluetooth™ interface allows the buttons on a Multi Function Steering Wheel and/or radio navigation system to act as a controller for your telephone whilst it remains in your handbag or pocket. It enables numbers from your phone book to be displayed either on the Driver Information Screen and/or touch-screen radio, radio navigation unit. From here, you can dial numbers from your phone book, received, missed or dialled calls. When calls are made or received, the audio is muted and the call is routed through the car’s speaker system.
